The word "komusume" has combined "ko" and "musume". the word "ko" means little,small,pretty,,etc. and the word "musume" means young lady with virginity. Some people use this word "ko" in order to weaken the word which follows it, or to make the following word been not worth serious condition. and others use it to be foolish following word also, in Japan. Today in Japan, they are using "puchi" - "petit" (fr.) same this situation.
